CanGro Foods, Inc. selects Microsoft Dynamics NAV and JustFoodERP to reduce Total Cost of Ownership

One of Canada’s largest food manufacturing companies, representing brands like Aylmer, Del Monte, and Primo Soups, selects Microsoft Dynamics NAV and JustFoodERP to reduce Information Technology infrastructure costs.

Toronto, ON – JustFoodERP, an Axentia company, announces that CanGro Foods, Inc. will begin the implementation of JustFoodERP across three production facilities, as well as their head office beginning January.

“We inherited our existing business systems from the divestment from Kraft Foods just over a year ago. In total, our small IT team is supporting 14 business systems including SAP for sales order processing” states Kirk Southcott, IT Manager, CanGro Foods Inc. “With Microsoft and JustFoodERP, our mandate is to bring 14 systems into one single integrated system. Our measurement is to reduce Total Cost of Ownership to less than 25% of what is it today. Moving to a Microsoft infrastructure is a great start in this direction”.

The 160 user ERP implementation will include all operational aspects of the business including finance, sales order processing, purchasing, inventory, and manufacturing. The project will integrate all layers of Microsoft infrastructure including MS Exchange, MS SQL Server, as well as a fully redundant and fault tolerant business system based on MS Windows Server.

“Having implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV in a previous life, I am very familiar with the impact that our new business system will have on our employees” Joe Ruffo, CFO, CanGro Foods continues. “CanGro has a new business mentality and needs a system that can adapt quickly to changing requirements. We need a system that reduces the cost overhead associated with the larger ERP systems currently being used today. This project is an important first step to streamlining our operations, and greatly improving the service we provide to all of our customers”.

“CanGro Foods selection of JustFoodERP and Microsoft Dynamics NAV is evidence that Microsoft is the only business system option for mid-sized companies” states Marc DiGiorgio, VP JustFoodERP. “In the past month we have added customers with as few as three users, to customers the size of CanGro Foods. Proof that JustFoodERP and Microsoft Dynamics NAV will scale up or down to the needs of growing food manufacturers and distributors”.

Giritech krijgt vestiging in Benelux

Trekt men de G/On USB-stick eruit, dan vervallen alle verbindingen.
